How is Slip Resistance Measured?
As the ramp is inclined, operators individually walk on the ramp, considering whether or not it is safe to proceed to higher angles. The angles are recorded at which the operators either slip or consider it best to stop. A corrected angle is then calculated, a classification is assigned, and then compared to the compliance criteria such as those listed above. Altro KR12-30 flooring meets the R12 criterion stipulated by Australian Standard AS/NZS 4586.

Note: Altro KR12-30 does not comply with German R12 requirements for volumetric fluid displacement.
